Shalom to the 12 Tribes and May the Most High in Christ bless you and keep you all safe!
During these turbulent times IUIC has been giving guidance on the COVID-19 situation via our various means of communication. We find it further necessary to document some key points to have on record our official stance and instructions during these times.
- It is imperative that each camp and our individual members follow the Executive Orders put out by your local governments and municipalities. If you are ordered to stay at home or lock down your local congregation follow those orders of your city, state or county. As it is taught to us in the book of Romans the 13th chapter, “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
- If you are ill, our illness policy still stands, if you are displaying symptoms let your local leadership know and follow the IUIC illness policy. Seek care and follow the CDC guidelines. The best source for your COVID-19 resources would be the CDC website or your local government websites and department of health pages.
- If you find yourself in a situation where you are not displaying symptoms but have found confirmed cases in your workplace let your local leadership know and follow CDC guidelines to quarantine yourself and your family. The recommended time frame by the CDC is presently 14 days. Stay home until then and if you begin to display symptoms follow the previous step and utilize the CDC guidance.
- Many of us have fallen on some hard times due to layoffs or our jobs and closing of businesses. We encourage each of you to utilize whatever programs are available to you via the Federal, State, and Local governments. There has been a passing of a bill consisting of various measures to assist those in need. Where we can we will provide the links or information to these resources so you may take full advantage of them if needed.
