Shalom Sis, thank you for doing this interview and sharing a little bit of yourself with us. Will you introduce yourself and tell us a little about your business?
My name is Zuriel Israel from the H.O. Deacon Malachia, I'm from the Tribe of Benjamin. I've been in the truth for about 13 years now. I have four beautiful kids, I'm also a stay at home mom who homeschools and runs her own business. I love sewing for the nation of Israel and I try to keep myself busy. The scriptures say ' Idleness worketh much evil' so I always try to have something to do. I try not to be idol, always busy, doing something.
All Praises sis, ok what about your business, tell us about it. Oh yeah, it's Zuriel’s Fashions it was created to supply sisters with modest apparel. You know when sisters come in the truth, sometimes it’s hard for them to find modest clothing and that’s were Zuriel’s Fashion came in. I want sisters to be able to dress correctly to set the example for those sisters out there in the world.
All Praises sis, so with being in the truth and understanding that we must apply the scriptures 1 Timothy 2:9, dressing modestly and ensuring that we keep our bodies covered for our Lord's or future Lords, how did you become a designer? It would have been so easy for you to just become a stylist since you are fashionable. What made you want to be a designer, to make them yourself? Oh! When I came into the truth..... I didn't know anything about fashion (laughing) but my Lord was a BIG part of me becoming a fashion designer. He used to see pictures of the Bishop in his garments before there was an IUIC and he would push me to sew garments for him. That's where it started from, sewing men’s garments, oh man I remember (laughing) the first garment I sewed for him. IT WAS HORRIBLE, it was sooo horrible, but he still wore it. He said 'you know what my wife made that for me so I am going to wear it"! All Praises (laughing)
Ok sis, you stared off sewing for your Lord then the want to have modest apparel for you and your daughter, is that how you targeted your audience, or how did you target your audience.
Yeeees that’s exactly how I targeted my audience, because I’m mostly trying to supply the 12 tribes, the repented sisters. That’s my audience.
All Praises. Sis you became a designer, you started making your own clothes, you have your targeted audience which are the sisters but I’m sure the brothers are asking for garments too,
Yes!! (laughing) the brothers too. I’m going to try but right now I am focusing on the sisters and young girls, then I will go back to the brothers.
So lastly but not least, what motivates you as a designer? We know what got you into designing but what motivates you as a designer? What motivates me is Acts 9:36-42 (KJV), Tabitha. I love her story, how she used to sew garments for the men. My thing is, everybody in Israel has a role to play and The Most High blessed me with this gift and I want to use it to benefit Israel.
All Praises Sis. Well, Zuriel of Zuriel’s Fashion that concludes our interview, your fashion is impactful and inspirational and so is your story. Thank you for sharing and being the example our modern-day Tabitha. MHNCB
